Store closings mean store wide clearance sales! We just picked up a Nordic Track treadmill regularly at $1300 for a whopping $700!! Talk about
a win. Sam has used it a few times already but I have yet to clock some
mileage. I've been meaning too because the both of us need to get back
in shape. I'm not happy at the weight I am and unfortunately its all
gone to my belly and my thighs just a smidge. Becoming recently fully
employed working 40+ hours 5 days a week, I just don't feel energized to
jump on a treadmill even if its for an hour or so. I need to though and
have been meaning too for the past week.
I'm currently an unappetizing 146 lbs. Makes me cringe that Sam still
finds me attractive. But I guess I could say the same about him. He
thinks he looks disgusting with his belly and I find him still as sexy
as ever. I'd like to get back down to my 125 range. Once there I can
finally get my tattoo!!! I'll either get my left shoulder done or start
my lower back. Both I've wanted for a few years now. Hopefully my lower
back one won't be too expensive....I had gotten it priced once at a shop
near my college. The price I was told was a bit high and that artist
does tend to over charge. I think it was around $300 just for the
outline. I decided to just stick with the shop that I got my first
tattoo. They were reasonable and I liked the shop atmosphere. I've since
added another element to the tattoo, which I may or may not keep. I
just hope I'm not getting in over my head.
I'll be posting updates now and again.
...And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all the people...

Simple Machines
Sam and I are getting ready to go on another gruelling bike ride through the neighborhood. We just bought me a bike yesterday and I made the mistake of agreeing to go with him on a 5mile ride in the middle of the day. He's had his bike for I guess a month now and goes on 5 and 10mile rides just about everyday when he's not working...which means for the next eight days while he's off waiting to switch shifts he'll be on a bike ride, but not necessarily with me. We did about 4 and a half miles yesterday and I thought I was going to die.
My oh-so-glamorous look from yesterday after yesterday! He got me an ice pack to help cool me down.
We just got back from our ride of 2.8 miles. Shorter than he wanted only because some dark rain clouds chased back to the house. My blessing in disguise *laughs* Though I don't nearly as bad as yesterday so that's good. We'll probably go again Saturday when I'm back again.

A possible change of pace
Sam may be changing over to the early shift 4pm-3am, which is the shift he was hoping for when the 6 month change-over occured. This just coming after saying they may move his patrol zone back to the Northend. Again where he was before the change-over. Not sure if I'll be happy about being woken at 2:30 to let me know he's home but lately I have been going to bed much later so it'd be okay.
Also he's working out more intensely and I'm loving the fruits of that labor. His upper body is getting back its definition and I love every minute of feeling those arms keeping me close and safe. Not only is working out to look fabulous, he's thinking of trying out for SWAT. Hopefully, no physical incidences with possible perps will happen just before he gets the chance.
I'm rooting for you love.
