A neighboring sheriff's office, in the county of Sam's department, posted an article in the paper announcing the class and they still have openings. Its a 10 week course starting in September. I'm interested in participating. I just don't want to miss the first class because of work, it'll only be in the last few days of work anyways.

I'll go ahead and fill out the application and submit it. Hopefully, this is one application that'll get accepted. It may give me hope again about the job search.
